Anna Leah Jolly began her work with CASA of Hinds County prior to winning the crown of Miss Mississippi. Her story of growing up in the Ukrainian foster care system and being adopted as a young teen has lead her to see the obstacles that foster and adoptive children often face as they try to find their potential. Her "Limitless" campaign helps children understand that their futures are not limited by the fact that they started out in foster care or adoption.
In July, CASA volunteers including Miss Mississippi Anna Leah Jolly, members of Parkway Baptist Church joined the Hinds County Youth Court Judge Carlyn Hick and staff in refreshing the children's areas. Providing child-friendly spaces for children to wait for their court hearings helps to make the experience less traumatic.
